Sometimes we get discouraged as we look at the bills. Oh, understand, we have seen God provide in ways which can only be called "miracles". But as I look at the electric bill, I can only hear God say, "You have not, because you ask not". 

Often we are asked how do we run three shelters, provide food to the community of elderly and disabled, provide bread to 16 other organizations each month, and minister individually to seven adults and four children presently with nine more beds soon to filled with homeless persons? We receive NO state or federal monies. We are not connected with any major denomination nor one church which funds us.

Private donations and a few grants most under $500 are what pays the bills. Today we ask you to consider making a donation and you follow that reflection with prayer. We have outstanding bills. AND the price of gasoline is NOT going down. April is the month each year when we have to pay for insurance for our shelters.
